Pimlico London UK SW1V 4JD Tel. & Fax. 020 7 976 5165 Andrew Lodge trained in traditional fine art portraiture with Leonard Boden (Royal Society of Portrait Painters), and added marine painting to his specialities, mainly due to his love of sailing. His attitude to painting is influenced by the effect of light on the subject and the texture it reveals, as well as atmosphere, however fleeting. The idea is to 'take a moment' and put it on canvas so that the effect is of a brief pause in time. Andrew accepts commissions including those for devotional subjects and reproductions of classical paintings. |
