| I am a 49-year-old ex rugby, soccer and cricket player, married to Paula. We have 2 children, Julie 25 who resides in Australia and Ian 19 a computer engineer.
I enjoy the outdoor life and developed an interest in photography around 15 years ago. I am a freelance and I work mostly for the Western Gazette, a weekly newspaper based in Yeovil Somerset and the Guardian series of newspapers that publish 3 editions in the Dorchester, Weymouth and Purbeck areas of Dorset. I also undertake publicity shoots for Powell Communication Consultants from Manchester. Weymouth is a great place for a photographer to live, in close proximity to the sea and country and there is always something happening in and around the area. I have had pictures published in most of the national newspapers and three rugby magazines. So far my best feature was when a violent squall blew up as a yacht race was underway in the sea off of Weymouth. Over 70 of the boats capsized and 150 crew ended up being rescued by the Weymouth lifeboat and the Coastguard Search and Rescue helicopter. The picture that appeared in most of the nationals, a young girl being helped ashore is in my portfolio in the On Line Gallery. My rates are negotiable, just contact me on any of the above numbers.
