I am principally interested in recording the beauty of the natural world with minimum recourse to manipulation (digital or otherwise) of the image (hence my choice of the name "Natural Light"). I now take about 3000 images annually, the bulk on Fuji Sensia 100 slide film using 35 mm Pentax SLR cameras. I travel as much as I can but am also building a Folio of West Country images with an eye on eventual Royal Photographic Society distinctions e.g. LRPS.

I have had local exhibitions and sold prints privately to individuals, framed and unframed. I have made occasional commercial sales by following leads supplied by the BFP. Blue Circle Cement, for instance, purchased a dawn view of their Cement Works reflected in the still waters of the Plym estuary!! I have recently produced a range of 12 postcards using my local Plymouth and West Country work under the theme title "Still England". This theme stands for my interest in tranquil atmospheric images of unspoiled countryside and the best and most attractive of human structures.

My images may be purchased as Cibachrome prints at prices of between £20 and £50 dependent on size (10 x 8 inches up to Poster size). For magazines, publications etc I am happy to negotiate fees for the use of specific images or to consider commissions for particular pictures or projects.

In addition to Plymouth and the West Country, I have significant folios of work relating to The Isles of Scilly as well as many from other parts of the UK and Europe, plus Chile and New Zealand.
