As an artist, I have spoken at UNESCO's headquarters in Paris, as well as at The Council of Europe in Strasbourg. I am well known figure in the international art world.
I presently works from my studio and home in East London from a converted, Victorian dog biscuit factory where I live amongst the largest community of artists in Europe.
I am keen to continue my own practice as an artist while keeping involved in the global development of exchanges of artists and their art. I am a painter and have recently worked more three-dimensionally or in relief, utilising the found objects gathered from various parts of the world that now serve as icons of memories past. Drawing has become more important to me too. I appreciate the inherently impulsive marks made when drawing and try to incorporate that same spontaneity into my paintings on canvas.
