Paul Petard, originally from Reading in Berkshire, U.K., now lives in "exile" in east London. He is a cartoonist, painter, illustrator, social commentator, self publisher, utopian, xmas postman and holder of the klinker award for wobbly genius.

Influenced by everything from surrealism to the Beano comic, his distinctive enigmatic images have turned up in a diverse range of places, including multi-artist underground comic strip "jams", punk 'zines, political journals, poetry books and Ape Magazine.

He is currently studying printmaking part-time at the London College of Printing. As well as his usual stream of self published books of drawings, cartoons and rants, Paul is soon to publish his first (and last!) illustrated book of poems.
